Battle of Queenston Heights (1812)

At the beginning of the War of 1812, the Americans launched a staunch invasion across the Niagara river into Canada in order to take it from the British. The British called upon the militias of York and Lincoln, and on their allies, the Mohawk, Lenape, and Haudenosaunee to halt the invasion and keep Canada out of American hands.
